THE HOUSE
A leafy corner of Fulham Palace Road is where you'll find this large, family-friendly five-bedroom semi-detached house. Bordered by a high hedgerow to the front and with a walled garden at the back, your privacy is assured when you stay in this highly desirable property just a few minutes walk from Bishops Park and the River Thames.
If you think the property's exterior is impressive (and it really is), wait until you see inside. A clue as to the quality that awaits you can be seen in the stained glass of your private front door which opens into a beautifully floor-tiled hallway.
Having just arrived, you'll be eager to explore, and there's plenty to discover starting with:
THE SITTING ROOM
Immediately to your left, a wide doorway leads you into the living room, home to a leather sofa and armchair with pouffe that invite you to relax after your journey. Both seats offer exceptional views of the large flatscreen television. When you spend time in here, be sure to browse through the books your hosts have left on the shelves.
DINING AREA
This living space seamlessly flows in the dining area, in the heart of which is a circular table around which you can all gather for meals, work meetings or card and board games. Perhaps all three.
KITCHEN
Where there's a dining table, there's bound to be a kitchen nearby. And your modern kitchen space offers up island seating along with all the appliances, cookware, plates, cups and other items you'd expect to find in a contemporary home.
There's a large, American-style fridge freezer with drinks dispenser, and plenty of cabinet space with all the kitchen accessories you're likely to need.
2nd LIVING AREA
The kitchen shares space at the back of the house with another living area which has its own leather sofa. There's room here for workouts, and you're welcome to use the dumbbells provided by the hosts, to keep your muscles toned during your stay.
OUTSIDE SPACE
This 2nd living area gives you direct access to your walled garden which wraps around two sides of the house (one of the benefits of the home's corner of the street location). Your garden features a decking area (BBQ provided) that leads to grass upon which sits a football goal. Shoot for glory, dive to save the day! It's a great space for families to gather and play together, with the high walls and tall trees helping ensure you can all relax and unwind without being overlooked from all sides.
GROUND FLOOR CLOAKROOM
Moving back inside the house and completing our tour of the ground floor leads us to the handy WC that's located here.
THE 5 BEDROOMS
Your sleeping quarters are split between the three upper levels of the house.
BEDROOM 1: Features a single bed and ample storage space.
BEDROOM 2: 2 single beds set in a large room with a decorative fireplace and a desk and chair with computer monitor.
BEDROOM 3: A double bed set in an attractive real wood floored room with a decorative fireplace. Wardrobes (closets) ensure you have plenty of storage space.
BEDROOM 4: There is another double bed in here with the option to have a cot (crib) right next to it in which the youngest guest in your group can sleep. This room also features an ensuite (see Bathroom 3).
BEDROOM 5: This space has the top floor of the house all to itself. Amid the eaves and under the skylights you'll find a double bed, double doors leading out onto a small balcony, a desk with two chairs and a sofa. There's another ensuite bathroom here (see Bathroom 4).
THE 4 BATHROOMS
We've already mentioned the cloakroom on the ground floor. On the upper levels of the house is where you'll find the remaining bathing and showering facilities. All rooms are exceptionally well presented with modern suites you can use to freshen up and prepare yourselves for whatever your day has in store for you. Towels are provided for all guests.
BATHROOM 1: A beautiful tub by the window, with a walk-in shower cubicle opposite. Also features a WC and wash basin.
BATHROOM 2: A fully tiled wet room with shower, WC and washbasin.
BATHROOM 3: This is an ensuite to one of the double bedrooms and is fitted out in modern wet room style with a shower, WC and wash basin.
BATHROOM 4: Located on the top floor of the house, this is an ensuite to the fifth bedroom, with a separate shower and bathtub, plus WC and wash basin.

LAUNDRY
A washer and dryer are available in the property for all guests to use.

BISHOPS PARK
A beautiful stretch of green space overlooking the River Thames is just down the end of the road (0.2 miles, 5-minute walk). It's sure to be a place you'll want to frequent, perhaps to walk or jog around, or maybe just to sit in and relax while enjoying the riverside views.
FULHAM FC
If you're visiting the area to watch your team play at Craven Cottage, home of Fulham FC, it's a very short walk (0.3 miles, 7 mins) from the house to your seats in the ground. And it's not actually that far to Chelsea FC's stadium at Stamford Bridge, which is just 1.6 miles away.
PUTNEY HIGH STREET
A 1 mile walk across Putney Bridge and you're onto Putney High Street, home to all kinds of shops and coffee shops, bars and boutiques, restaurants and more.
THE HURLINGHAM CLUB
This famous private social and sporting club is just 3.6 miles from the house.
THE QUEEN'S CLUB
Another private club is only 1.1 miles away and is the venue for a grass court tennis championship every summer.
HAMMERSMITH APOLLO
West London's premier entertainment venue is only 1.1 miles from the house and literally straight up the road. So, if you're visiting the capital to see a performance at the Apollo, staying in this house is going to mean you're just a short walk or an even shorter taxi ride away.
CHARING CROSS HOSPITAL
If you are working here or perhaps visiting someone undergoing treatment at this healthcare facility, you can reach the hospital in around 5 mins by taxi as it's just 1.1 miles away.
GETTING AROUND
Your nearest London Underground station is at Putney Bridge, a mere 0.7 miles from the house. It's served by District Line trains which in one direction will take you to Wimbledon and in the other into central London via stops that include Fulham Broadway, Paddington, Victoria and stations leading all the way into the City of London and beyond.
You can also catch local bus services, or you have the option of tapping your Uber app and hiring a private car to take you to wherever you need to be.
