ABOUT THE HOUSE
Three floors of Kensington class await you here in this 3 bedroom house in West London. Your own front door and two private outside spaces will make this feel like your home-from-home in one of London's most sought after residential areas.
Step inside from street level and you're into the large and welcoming LIVING AND DINING AREA, a space that benefits from large windows letting in plenty of natural light. Twin sofas are arranged either side of the decorative fireplace and coffee table, with plenty of cushions to help you get comfy while you watch the home's television. At the opposite end of the room is the dining table, where you can gather for snacks, meals, work and games.
The separate galley-style KITCHEN is right next to the dining table, so you won't have far to carry plates laden with the delicious food you've prepared using the quality appliances, cookware and countertops in the kitchen. A small table and two chairs in the kitchen gives you another great place to sit and grab morning coffee, perhaps while checking your social media.
And standing at the kitchen sink will give you a great view of the PATIO with planting and seating that you can access through double doors near the dining table in the living area. This outside space is great for resting and relaxing, perhaps with a glass of something bubbly to hand.
Up the stairs takes you to the first floor and the first of the
3 BEDROOMS
There's a king-size bed in one of the rooms, and a second bedroom with a single bed with trundle underneath. The third, master bedroom is up on the top floor and features another kingsize bed plus an ensuite bathroom with tub and shower overhead, as well as a WC, wash basin and plenty of storage space.
2 BATHROOMS
As well as the ensuite in the master bedroom, back down on the first floor there's a second bathroom with a large shower, WC and wash basin.
ROOF TERRACE
Perhaps the crowning glory of this gem of a house is the roof terrace, accessed through doors on the staircase between the first and second floors. It's another outside space that's great for sitting and gazing across the rooftops of west London and planning what you're going to do tomorrow.
REMOTE WORKING
Desks and chairs are located in various areas across the house, so you won't have any trouble finding a quiet space to get work done, whether you want to sit inside or outside.
THE LOCAL AREA
This large house is located close to High St Kensington on a mainly residential street with a few small commercial outlets. You'll have plenty of shops and restaurants to browse and try in an area of Central London that has a villagey feel to it.
Why not stock up the food cupboards and fridge freezer in the kitchen at the nearby Wholefoods supermarket or Marks & Spencers? When you've eaten and are ready to leave the house, just some of the attractions nearby include:
Kensington Olympia
The Science Museum
The Natural History Museum
The V&A Museum
The King's Road
Kensington Gardens for the Diana Memorial Fountain
Hyde Park for Winter Wonderland and summer concerts and events.
Holland Park - why not attend an open air opera here in the summer?
Cromwell Hospital is also very close by, so staying here means you can be near someone having treatment there.
GETTING AROUND
High Street Kensington London Underground station is about a ten minute walk from the house. It's served by Circle and District Line trains, directly connecting you with Notting Hill, Paddington, Sloane Square, the huge Victoria transport hub, Westminster and locations in the City of London. You can also catch red buses from many areas around the house or hail the black taxis you're bound to see on the roads in the local area. But with everything so close, walking is a great option. So too hiring a bike via the London Bike Hire Scheme.
