The living and dining area sits at street level, a generous, light-filled room with large windows, twin sofas arranged either side of a decorative fireplace and coffee table, and a television. At the far end is the dining table, perfect for meals, work and games. The separate galley-style kitchen is right next to the dining table and features quality appliances, cookware and countertops, plus a small table and two chairs — a lovely spot for morning coffee. Double doors near the dining table open on to the patio. On the first floor is the first of the three bedrooms, a room with a king-size bed, and a second bedroom with a single bed with a trundle underneath. Also on this floor is the main bathroom, which has a large shower, WC and wash basin. The master bedroom is on the top floor and features a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a tub and overhead shower, WC, wash basin and ample storage space. The roof terrace is accessed through doors on the staircase between the first and second floors and offers rooftop views across west London. The house has two private outside spaces. At ground-floor level, a patio with planting and seating is accessed through double doors from the living and dining area — a relaxing spot for unwinding with a drink. Above, a roof terrace reached via doors on the staircase between the first and second floors offers views across the rooftops of west London and is another great place to sit and plan the day ahead.

The house is close to High Street Kensington on a mainly residential street with a few small commercial outlets, giving the area a villagey feel despite being in central London. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, including a Wholefoods supermarket and a Marks & Spencer for stocking up the kitchen. Nearby attractions include Kensington Olympia, the Science Museum, the Natural History Museum, the V&A Museum, the King's Road, Kensington Gardens with the Diana Memorial Fountain, Hyde Park — home to Winter Wonderland and summer concerts — and Holland Park, which hosts open-air opera in the summer. Cromwell Hospital is also very close by.

High Street Kensington London Underground station is about a ten-minute walk away, served by the Circle and District lines with direct connections to Notting Hill, Paddington, Sloane Square, Victoria, Westminster and the City of London. Red buses serve many roads around the house, and black taxis are easily hailed locally. With so much within easy reach, walking is an excellent option, as is hiring a bike through the London Bike Hire Scheme.
