This third floor apartment in the highly desirable Kensington area of West London gives you somewhere homely and luxurious in which to base yourself while in the capital. Once inside the development, there are stairs to walk-up to reach the front door and a couple more short flights of steps once you enter the apartment.
The Open Plan Living Area / Dining Area & Kitchen
Here's a space with two windows that ensure plenty of natural light gets in. There's a comfortable corner sofa right by the door as you enter, so drop your bags and take the weight off your feet and relax. Maybe flick on the flatscreen TV and see what's on, or try the armchair for size. The sofa converts into a bed that's best for 1 guest but can sleep 2.
If you've brought food with you, unpack and store it in the kitchen cupboards and the fridge freezer, ready to enjoy later during your stay. All the appliances and cookware you're likely to need are here for you, so too quality appliances to help you prepare the home-style meals and snacks you love best. And you can enjoy them sitting down at the bench dining table that's right by the kitchen, so you won't have far to carry your plates.
Relax and recharge on the double bed that's beautifully presented and features a comfortable mattress and quality bedding. There is integrated wardrobe space in the room for your clothing and other belongings, so you can store it all out of sight when you unpack.
This modern, tiled space features a bath tub with overhead shower, giving you an inviting room in which to get ready for those days and nights out you have planned. There's also a WC and wash basin, with fresh, quality towels ready for you to use.
THE LOCAL AREA
Located just a few streets west of Kensington Palace Gardens and Hyde Park, and east of Holland Park this apartment is in a prime spot for anyone who's visiting London to see the sights or to work. As well as those parks we've mentioned (the Diana Memorial is in Kensington Palace Gardens and there are all kinds of events all year round in Hyde Park) there's plenty more to do and see right on your doorstep, including:
Plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants - you're literally surrounded by them, with great places to buy goods and find refreshment in Notting Hill, on Westbourne Grove and up Queensway. And you have a choice of supermarkets within easy reach too.
Royal Albert Hall
If you've booked tickets for a performance here (maybe the Last Night of the Proms?) staying here will give you just a short walk to and from the venue.
You have the Natural History, Science and Victoria & Albert Museums all within close proximity to one another and all within walkable distance of the apartment. And The Design Museum is even closer.
Here's another famous and popular venue that can be easily reached from the apartment.
A trio of London Underground stations are all a short distance from the apartment. Notting Hill Gate, Holland Park and Queensway are all on the Central Line and can whisk you to destinations in central London as well as the City of London beyond.
Notting Hill Gate is also served by Circle and District Line services, connecting you to even more London locations, such as Victoria and Westminster as well as Paddington, where you can catch the Heathrow Express, and hook up with the newly opened Elizabeth Line which runs across the heart of London.
If you prefer staying above ground, as well as being able to walk or cycle to many locations in London, you can hop on buses that serve the local area, or hail one of those famous London black taxis from the streets near the apartment.
