ABOUT THE APARTMENT

One of the big advantages of renting a lower ground floor apartment? You get access to outside space. And that's exactly the case with this Chelsea apartment.

The patio here is accessible from both the living room and the master bedroom, and with seating outside, it's a great space for a quiet breakfast, an al fresco lunch and evening drinks as the sun sets on London.

THE LIVING ROOM & KITCHEN

Whoever's preparing the snacks and meals needn't miss out on what's going on in the living room (or what's on the TV) as the kitchen shares the same open space with the lounge area and its comfortable sofa. There's even breakfast bar style seating creating a great place to eat those meals you've prepared or the take outs or deliveries you've ordered in. Appliances in the kitchen include an oven, stovetop and dishwasher. There's also a washer/dryer, so if you happen to get a favourite top dirty during your stay and want to wear it again, you can wash and dry it in-house.

2 BEDROOMS

The master has a kingsize zip and link bed, which means it can be either a king size or two single beds. Let the A Place Like Home team know how you'd like the bed configured ahead of your arrival. This room is at the back of the house and, as already mentioned, has direct access to the patio. The second bedroom is a single at the front of the house. All beds will deliver the quality of comfort you need to enjoy a great night's sleep.

THE BATHROOM

This white-tiled modern space gives you somewhere to get ready for days and nights out. Make the final adjustments to your look in the large mirror above the wash basin, after you've bathed in the tub or used the shower over the bath. You'll find towels and toiletries ready to use in here courtesy of the A Place Like Home team.

PORTER SERVICE

If you've booked your stay between Monday and Friday, there will be a porter on duty in the development to help with any issues or carrying of bags if you need it.

THE LOCAL AREA

A quick glance at Google Maps will show you just how close this apartment is to Sloane Square. You couldn't wish for a better location if you need easy access to the London Underground, and if you want to explore the delights of this part of London on foot.

Some of the places that are close to this lower ground floor apartment include:

The King's Road - this iconic street is just the other side of Sloane Square from the apartment. So all its fashionable delights are within easy reach.

The Saatchi Gallery - this will be another near neighbour when you stay here and is well worth a visit.

Royal Hospital Chelsea for the Chelsea Flower Show - it's just around the corner from the apartment.

The Museums - a little further afield, but still within walking distance are the Natural History Museum, The Science Museum and the Victoria & Albert Museum.

Buckingham Palace - the other side of Victoria Station is where you'll find this most regal of residences which has opened its doors to visitors in recent years.

GETTING AROUND

Sloane Square London Underground station is less than a minute's walk from the apartment. It's a station on the District and Circle lines, so will link you to places such as Westminster and the City of London to the east, and Notting Hill and Paddington to the west. Both these lines actually run above ground.

Of course, you can always choose London's red buses to get you around. Plenty of services stop in the local area. And you're bound to see plenty of black taxis on the streets near to the apartment. Just look for the ones with their orange light on above the windscreen as these are available to hire. You can also choose pedal power to get you around London by registering for the London Bike Hire Scheme, or alternatively you can walk!

Victoria Station is close to the apartment, with buses, coaches, underground and railway trains stopping there that can take you to a wide variety of places in England, ideal if you fancy a day trip to Oxford, Brighton, Canterbury or Hastings.
