THE APARTMENT
Welcome to a beautifully presented, conveniently located first
floor duplex apartment that's ready to make up to 5 guests feel
right at home. Let's take a look around:
OPEN PLAN KITCHEN / LIVING AREA / DINING AREA
This room will likely become the room you all spend the most time
in together. There's space to relax with a sofa and armchairs to
kick back on after a busy day's working in or exploring London. All
seats offer up a great view of the flat screen TV on which you can
watch Firestick and Sky TV services whenever you get the
chance.
On those occasions you decide to eat in or not order a delivery, you have a kitchen with a range of modern appliances including a Neff gas hob and fan cooker with grill. And there's a dining table with seats for all guests - a great place for snacks, meals, work, even board or card games in the evenings.
Got work to do during your stay in London? The presence of a desk and chair in a corner of this room will give you somewhere to sit and get your laptop out.
3 BEDROOMS
The house has room for 5 guests to sleep. Two of the bedrooms have
a queen bed in each (one of these has an ensuite bathroom) with the
third bedroom featuring a single bed. All are smartly presented
with quality bedding and mattresses to help ensure you get a good
rest every night of your stay.
2 BATHROOMS
The family bathroom features a shower, WC and wash basin. The
second bathroom is an ensuite in one of the double bedrooms and
features a bath and shower. Quality towels and toiletries will be
available for all guests to use during your stay.
THE LOCAL AREA
Pimlico is an area of south London situated between Belgravia and
the River Thames. Many of London's major attractions are within
easy reach of the house. Here's just a small selection:
Buckingham Palace
The London home of the Queen of England has to be one of the
capital's must -see destinations.
Tate Britain
It's free to get into the home of British art, and it's not far
from the house.
Westminster Abbey
Scene of many famous weddings and the resting place of many famous
people, this is another London landmark that's not to be
missed.
The Houses Of Parliament / Big Ben
One of the world's most famous clocks is part of a landmark
building that's the focal point of British politics.
Sea Life London Aquarium
See all kinds of sea life close-up from sharks to jellyfish in one
of London's most popular attractions.
GETTING AROUND
A quick glance at a map of London will reveal what a great
location Pimlico is. The house is close to both Pimlico and
Vauxhall London Underground stations, but there's also a major
transport hub close by - Victoria Station. There you'll find an
underground station too with frequent services to Oxford Circus
plus The City of London. Victoria also has a bus station from where
you can catch distinctive red buses all over London. And there's a
coach station which runs road services to destinations including
Birmingham, Oxford and Manchester.
Victoria station also has a 19-platform railway station. Trains from there connect with locations across Southern England, including Gatwick Airport, Brighton, Canterbury and Hastings.
Being so centrally located, it's possible to hail black cabs on the streets near the house to take you to various destinations in London. Or you can always book an Uber. And why not enjoy a boat trip on the Thames? There's a pier nearby from where you can pick up a leisure cruiser.
